Are Christians Among us???

How does the Sabbath "become" a day when it was set as another day for a reason? Saturday is the Sabbath day. Always has been.

ha, how does everything that God created as perfect become just the opposite?

Wheres the negativity? I dont see anyone saying they dont believe in God or anything negative about him or Christians. Although it did get off topic when it became about the actual attending of a place designated as a church. I like this discussion. It shows different viewpoints without resorting to name calling, finger pointing, or any other negative reactions.

My big thing is the $$ and the people who don't pratice what they preach in a church (not the pastor). Quick to judge, quick to do wrong or look the other way, but turn around and hold themselves up on high because they are Christians. I also don't like that most church going Christians hold the pastor up so high to be "supreme like"... heard one old lady tell me that my pastor is the closest thing to Jesus himself. Dosen't that sound a bit like a golden cow? Just my perspectives i guess.

I have a problem with some "christians". IE I went to a church retreat with my GFs methodist church . Anyways we are in this huge concert hall and these bands are playing songs about religion and what not. Then this dude gets on preaching and says if you are "saved" please stand up. I am still alittle fuzzy on what this term means, but maybe something like your going to heaven because you believe in god. Anyways I think it is bullshit that you can "think" you are going to heaven. It was just so funny seeing like 1000 people standing up and me and probably 10 other people just sitting there.

My other beef with religion is interpretation. Religion is just an interpretation of what happened years and years ago. Interpretations are flawed because they are written by humans, and geesh we can turn words into whatever we want to.

i am not religous or spiritual in any way but it is cool to hear everyones outlooks and opinions on christianity.
