it will still shift side to side that set up will keep the bars paralel but still move side to side ...good work tho

I bet you guys a dollar it won't move much. Probably less shifting than some triangulated 4 links. I could be wrong but I aint to often. Unless I'm arguing with my wife, never been right there yet.

It will only move the amount of deflection in the bushings. As the suspension gets older and the bushings wear out, it will have increasing amounts of lateral movement. The two link is a compromise at best, having the a bad amount of pinion angle change throughout its travel.

Um..... I don't wanna insult anyones intelligence but how much do you guys (the ones sayin you HAVE to have a panhard) know about air suspension??? I know quite a bit about settin up stuff and i have never even seen a 2 link with a panhard.... or what you think is a 2 link, jus 2 bars, i can see needin one with that but when the bars are welded together like i have done, you don't need one. Thats why companys sell 2 links with no panhard bars..... There is no deflection in the bars, the only side to side movement will be in the bushings, and thats the same with any link setup.

ANYWAYS..... i was askin bout the price, not whether its built right, i have no worries that its built right

1) Your price seems very fair, maybe too fair.
2) I don't think anyone was dissing your work. It looks real clean. You might try to take what is being said as constructive critisim.
3) Companies will sell whatever people will buy. Regardless of whether it is properly engineered or not.

Oh i'm not takin it as dissin my work, cuz everybody has said its good work jus wrong setup haha, i'm jus tryin to clear this up.... I've never heard of usin a panhard with a 2 link. I had a 2 link on my s10 and then made this one... I've seen alot of trucks with 2 links and never seen a panhard. Anyone got pics???

your work and welds look awesome bro. and the price seems fair. keep in mind i am not being a dick or anything like that, just want to keep everyone safe. if you run a 2 link like what you have or with the bars not connected together, you better run a panhard, diagnal link, or a watts link. all those 2 bars are doing is keeping the axle from moving front to back (except of course when lifting and lowering). to keep the side to side action at a minimal you must run a panhard or watts link. if you have never seen a 2 link with a panhard, diagnal link, or watts link than i would stay clear and not ride behind them. again, i am not being a dick.

now at the same time, a panhard still allows side to side movement, but it does keep it to a minimum and is a lot safer than running a 2 link without one.

and companies sell 2 links without panhards not because you don't need one, it is because they don't know if you are going to run a panhard, watts link, or a diagnal link or what you are doing in the first place. every company that i have seen sells the panhard by itself and usually they want your measurements.

here is a pic of my boys mazda with a 2 link with a diagnal link.

The 2 bars are welded together though... I don't see how 2.5" x 2.5" square 1/4" wall tubing when wleded square can flex side to side enough to even notice.....

And any side to side motion would be from the bushings. That first 2 pics are jus to show the bars and the angled blocks

Ya see ^^^ he has no bar connecting the 2 "lower" link bars....

The design i used needs no panhard or anything to keep side to side movement down
