congrats on the new mini-trucker.Now u better haul azz on that truck cause in about 8 more months ur life as u currently know it is gonna change big time.Dirty nappies dont smell anything like 30 weight,I garontee.also babies crying at 2 am dont sound like a nice mini-truck haulin azz.Get ready.Lol.BJ

Thanks guys! You all are oh so right, I know my time is limited...prolly the last "toy" for papa-to-be for a while, so what ever I'm gonna do to it, will have to be soon, real soon.....I'm on borrowed time as it is, the
wife has been letting me work on it during the holidays and hasn't said much yet about her "honey do list" but I'm sure it's coming....any one gota a personal replicator? I could really use another one of me....heck who am I kidding, two or three more of me & it would still take a while to get caught up....
I'll be sure to keep everyone posted on the trucks progress, and that of mama's progress too

Well guys and gals, been busy as a bee on the truck, I along with help from my pops got a good amount of work done on it....we made my amp rack / sub enclosure and got it installed in the truck, still lack making the center console, painting some of the trim pieces, and making the door panels, and the interior will be done.
We just got finished installing the engine 'bout an hour ago, shew what a chore, but it's in and bolted up to the tranny.....I know I ought to have my butt kicked for telling all this and not have any pics, but it's late & I've gotta be up @ 4am to head to work, so all the pic freaks will have to wait till tomorrow evening....I'll just say one word.....sick!

Aight here's the pic's I promised last night, sorry for the quality, it's raining outside, and my garage is kinda dark.....Enjoy!
The first couple are of the engine finally at home excuse the mess, I still have some work to do as you can tell.
The next two are of the front ride height with the engine in the truck...still needs a little tweaking, but it's pretty close to where it will be, sorry I don't have a full pic of the truck yet, but it has a nice hot rod stance
The last two are of the amp rack / wall and integrated speaker box. I still need to make the center console, door panels, and paint some of the trim pieces, but I'm pleased so far...I'm sure the box covering could have been done better by an upolstery place, but not bad for my first endevor....
Hopefully in the next month I'll have it running and road worthy, still a ways to go, but a whole lot closer than I was when I started!!

man the engine looks great in there. the rear speaker enclosure looks good too. very clean and tastefull. is your interior tan? i love the tan mazda interior. if i could find somebody with an excab locally with tan that would trade, i would...lol
