Thanks, too long....acutally I got the metal last year, it took me @ a couple weeks worth of time to do the design (but that couple weeks was spread across several months due to work schedule) then dropping off the metal to my "people" as Linn would put it working on it for me (they own their own businesses, so they have to take care of the bread & butter work first, then comes the "side jobs" like my intake). It took my machinist bud @ a month after I dropped off the raw metal to cut the metal for both intakes, he did the machine work, then I carried it to my welder bud, and it has taken him about a month to get the first one welded out, he said the other day when I picked the first one up, prolly another month for the second depending on his regular work....I carried the first one back to my machinist bud yesterday to get the flanges plained nice & flat so there won't be any leaks, then I'll pollish it up, coat it with a clear and install it on the truck, once that is done, I can figure out a little throttle cable bracket, and one for the choke cable, fill & bleed the brakes & clutch lines, fill the gas tank & run some thru the system, make sure the psi is right going to the carbs, clean the filters then hook the lines up to the carbs....filler up with anti freeze, install the O2 guage so I know if I'm running lean/rich or stoich and some stuff on the interior, other than that it should be ready to crank in a week give or take, and ready to road test in a couple....still have to find someone or some company to adapt my e-brake cables before I can carry it to get the tag for it. So to sum it up, it is close, very close....
