Dude..you sooo owe me a new pair of shorts and some dignity. That is AWSOME!!!! By far one of the NICEST set ups I have ever seen. I am soooo envious. Keep up the good work.

That engine is amazing. Can't wait to see it in person....

That sir is a thing of beauty!!! If you were using black rubber tubing and had a fugly air cleaner on it I would almost believe it was a factory setup. As far as Mazda FE blocks go - that is probably the coolest B2200 motor out there. Yours is one of the few trucks I really want to see in person - keep up the good work and as always keep us pic whores happy LOL.

Thank you all for the compliments, if it wasn't for all the b-sceners that have helped & inspired me over the past 4-5 years, this project would have bit the dust along time ago....that's what makes this site rock, along with all the great members like ya'll!!

I haven't had a chance to get anything else done this weekend, busy with honey-do's, but should be able to hit it hard next weekend...Thanks again guys!

As long as the list contained one "honey do me here on the floor/table/bath/bonnet" it's all good, you are forgiven

quick update, and sorry for the delay on updates guys/gals, been super busy at work & home...
Clutch leak is fixed, made a throttle cable bracket, robbed two springs from the original carb, and have them temporaried in for a return spring, and have cycled the linkage & it seems to be all good....also had to do some R&D mods on the intake to accomodate the little coolant line that runs from the t'stat housing to the cold coolant pipe that runs behind the head (used to tie into a short piece of hard pipe that ran under the oem intake)....looks much cleaner now...
so after all that, I almost cranked it this weekend if it wasn't for a couple of fuel leaks, one was my fault, the fitting was just a hair loose, the other was the check vlv that I installed, was leaking, and I couldn't get it to stop (mfg defect), so one leak of my own out of the plethera of fittings & line, not bad if I do say so myself!
So I have to round up an -8an union to replace the check vlv, get it installed, install my a/f gauge, adjust the psi at the regulator, and cross my fingers that what my weber book says is true (the jetting they came with is what is reccommended per overall cylinder size and or overall engine size and a few other yada yada's)if that is the case, it should be make sure both are flowing the same amount of air, and tweaking a few adjustment screws.....we'll shall see & I'll keep ya posted....
