I used the kia starter on mine and hooked up the mazda wiring to it. SO you don't have to worry about the fuel system. As for the oil pan and pickup tube you have to use it to clear the crossmember under the motor. I'm not sure which turbo header to use. My guess would be a miata one. from what i read that one works on the fe3 motor. With the motor you want to get if there aren't any plug wires in it water could still have got under the valve cover.

I guess i'll siphon the water out of each spark plug hole and pull the valve cover off and see???

first of all the fe3 only bolts to the 2.0 or 2.2 transmisions. also the miata engine is a completly different engine design and no parts transfer between them. the only miata parts that work are the internals of the transmissions can be swapped for better gear ratios. if you plan to rebuild the engine right away then the one with water should be fine, otherwise i would just find a different one. rust and water in the oil..

its not the turbo that makes that noise...its the blow off valve...jus 2 let ya guys kno

OKAY so does anyone have a right up on how to do this swap i am thinking of doing this and i work for kia so i get a great discount. and need like a parts list to what i will all need. anyhelp would be appreciated
