I didnt do the front shocks yet
I used a special industrial hardened tube steel,
not quite sure what it was, it may be cromoly, a buddy/oilfield pipefitter gave it to me,
it was hard to cut, and weld!!
went through a few cuttin wheels!!
its a good weld to the frame , I jacked the truck up by them and neither weld gave out or bent from its position.
Try to tie it in with a crossmember, and gusset it.
The wheels I have and the handling dynamics I wanted I had no other options, if you want to hit sides and mount shocks they should be mounted angularly not like me straight up and down with the same origination point.
I'll get the boy weldin soon, lol
