thanks for the compliments!
i like to inspire others as I look this site a lot for motivation too.
I am baby sittin right now too! but this afternoon I will get some shop time, lol

linn
thanks fer the props!
As for the pedal system, I have had to modify it quite a bit, and its location, pics to follow will explain thouroughly. When I enter that stage, I will be documenting everything for us on here.
I switched the slave to hide under the dash pointing backwards too, I may need to go auto if my plans dont work. I built a custom dash if you recall, I will also be extending my steering wheel, and moving my seat mounting point.

The front strut rod, or locator arm, if we're talking about the same thing, is removed, I will be triangulating the LCA so it serves no purpose.
As for steering linkage, its tight and I have a plan for that also, think, inverted.......
Also I am not done with the frame yet, it will end up narrowed and maybe Z'd to get some steering radius and balance out some camber.

Stay tuned is all I can say, keep faith and you will see, I may change my plans somewhat as I go along.
pics and updates will explain better than I can type

An engine swap will be happening fer sure to a JDM FE3 w/ T04 turbo I may need to go auto if my plans dont work.

thanks man,!
I think I have put about 15 or more pounds of wire into this truck.
I am the only guy I know that can bead weld sheetmetal w/o burnin through, take a closer look at some of them.
a lot of it is stacked tack welds, but some of it is bead welds.
really its my awesome millermatic 180, lol
and I use 18g and 14g a lot

yea im in the process of shaving my tailgate handle and its real hard not to burn through

I need some more #4 sand to clean up the box, its pretty bad, for the most part I find its better and faster and cheaper to just cut out the rusty bits out and build from scratch.

Nxt time I will build my own frame!!

one good trick is to use some metal behind as backing , it helps to dissipate the heat, and if ya do burn through its usually only the top layer, also using small bits of scrap as filler, as if you are tig welding, hmm kinda hard to describe

you prolly noticed I will be doing a totally shaved box with a tilt bed.
I have a shaved tailgate too, this one was in better shape, lol
my lic plate will be frenched inti where the tailgate location is, and the fuel filler behind the flip up plate
