I was reading a bio max article about rear set ups and he was talkin bout instant center, so I am pretty sure I understand the concept but heres the question, my bars are parallell triangulated on top so I have no IC cuz there is no intersecting point of the bar angles.
Is this gonna suck? <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt=":roll:" title="Rolling Eyes" /><!-- s:roll: -->
I only have the hangers on the frame tacked in so I can change that , I want to know what everyone thinks before I weld it all in solid.
And about triangulation, do I have enough angle?
I had a plan for a watts link I could still build.
Short bars on bottom , long bars on top , but equalling the same distance from front to back with the angle of the top bars

okay workin away on the front today
heres a mock up to check travel ,
I had to pie cut my uppers cuz the top bj was binding
I also spaced my top control arm inward about an inch to get it lookin like this.
The tire hits the 2wd fender when in travel, just barely, so it looks like it'll have to be 4wd fenders
I prefer a 2wd fender to match the box, so I have not given up yet tryin
the next mission is to save as much steering radius as possible

Looking good. What size tire is that? Also I would trianglulate the top bars a little more.

yeah I was thinkin bout that, its alot harder than it looks with those top bars bein so longI had originally planned to have a custom watts link in there too, I have all the parts , I may just do that.
we'll see......

update today,
front end work
pie cut the uppers for the sake of the upper ball joint, set up the lower control arm, cleaned it up and cut off all the uneeded crap.

looking good but i think NC4life is right need more angle on uppers, or run them tight on cross member and spread on rear......If your running a 20 you wont really be doing side to side so no point really.

GOOD LUCK
