Got top plates tacked in... how they look? bag is about 1/4" from frame.

So the other side, should I mirror this side far as having the top plate the same distance down from the top of the frame? That would give me equal lift on both sides. Is that right?

thanks.

Question & comment....
Question, If you are running drop spindles, is the LCA allowed to go up high enough to lay the frame in this pic?

Comment, in most of the installs I have done or seen, the upper bag mount is parallel with the lower bag mount when the bag is fully compressed. This would allow the minimum amount of bag flex or arc when aired up and the maximum compression when aired out. It would seem that the upper bag mount needs to be pushed down some and then obviously reinforced.

Yes, the mounts on both sides should be identical to give you an even lift.

Youll also want to have more than a 1/4" clearance between the frame and bag. Those bags get wider when aired up.

Yea I have drop spindles. No I haven't checked to see if frame will lay out with my Lca, I'll do that today. So with both plates being parallel should the bag be straight or leaning towards frame? If it leans towards the frame whats a safe distance to stay away? 3/4"?

thanks.
