yeah theres a whole bunch of +'s to them, less power, quicker illumination.......

and they look cool as hell. I'd love to make my stock tails light up with tons of individual LEDs like all the new Cadillac tail lights and stuff. That would look cool.

Like I said I am designing custom PC boards for leds, that will do just that, plus they can have designs lit in them, or different color accent lights, and yes they produce no heat, use 10 times less power, illuminate in 1/6 of a second, and last 100 000 hours if you use quality bulbs. There are no real drawbacks except for price.

but the price doesn't become much of a drawback because you don't have to replace them as often!

I'd really be interested in doing an LED setup for my tail lights, and a little LED strip in my corner lights, and maybe a single row of like 6 LEDs for my front turn signals. It'll get pricey, but would look sweet.

gravity....keep us posted on these boards, if you will custom make them to certain applications, i could probably make good use of your skillz

I will do custom ones right now.....but the ones I am designing are for production housings in production taillights.....I am still trying to see if it will be worthwhile( re profitable) to make production ones....

If not I will just make custom to order ones and most likely do them at cost.

Keep us updated. That's something I'll be very interested in doing soon.
