looks sick as hell but are u using the stock brake caliper???i was inquiring about putting cando arms & re7 bags and was warned that the caliper would probely hit the bag, that there was not enough room for the re7 bag!!!

i'm running a grenada 11" rotor with wilwood 4 piston calipers. i wanted to go the cheaper route and run s-10 brakes, but the caliper is too big and did hit the bag when turning. a 6" bag prolly would have helped a lot, but i like my 7's.
i think there's a couple guys on here with 7 inchers up front, i don't know about the turning situation though.

the guys i went to reso with are planning to hit up the forbidden show, and i'd like to also, but i'd like to get my toyota axle situation squared away first. i'm not rollin with 20's up front and 15's in the rear anywhere else!!! that's not cool! ha ha.

thanks for the comments and replys too.
update:
my 69 toyota axle wheel mount surface to WMS is 54" i'm not sure what the stock mazda rear is, but hopefully the yota will be narrow enough to fit the new wheels. i took it apart today, the bearings are good, the seals are good, the gear oil was nicely colored and not black like i thought it would be... the ring and pinion backlash was good, so i'm pretty stoked that i don't have to have it rebuilt like originally planned... just some new bearings and seals just to be sure...
one day i'd like to run wilwood calipers and disc brakes out back too, but its a bit spendy, so i'm going to run the stock yota drums, so i need to get a couple new slave cylinders and new brake shoes, and have the drums turned and hopefully (depending on measurements) it'll be good to go... just have a new driveline made and make my brackets and bolt 'er in.

Stock mazda is 58.5 or 58.75 I think.

Also the 73-78 Toyotas are the narrowest of their kind at 53". Just in case 54" is a hair too wide, you can get axles and a housing and use the third member you have.

here ya go speedy, I posted up the wms measurements in this thread.

so... u think the 3rd member will bolt into the housing no prob? there's 10 bolts on my axle holding the member in.
i called about new bearings and wheel cyl, brake shoes and the total from vato zone was a hair under $200. the bearings alone were like $160... so i'm going to try to use these ones!
ha ha the dude at autozone said the bearings were Timken...(common bearing brand) and was marveling at how "a 69 toyota truck has the same bearings as the front of his Big block"
ha ha... silly autozoners

Nytrdr - thank you for that info! good to know. you might update it with the yota info twisted and i have for our years too.
