so, the wheels i have on there right now are 16x7 with a 5" bs. we have a mustang at the shop with similarly sized wheels, and same bs too.. stock newer mustang wheels. i decided i'm going to go ahead and lay down the moneys for 20's. i'm hatin it, but i gotta do what i gotta do.

so update today on my progress!
no pics but i'll fill yall in. my wife and i got the crossmember notched so the motor can set down 3/8" lower and clear the stock hood, got the motor mounts welded in and everything got a nice fresh aerosol overhaul

i didn't have internet access for a few weeks prior to reso, so i feel bad that i didn't know of anyone else that was going, i'd have liked to meet up with you all. i was super busy with moving to a new house (on christmas) and bustin ass every last minute to get those wheels, new brakes, get my clutch figured out with the wheel tubs, getting the firewall tubbed, yada yada yada.
flameds10 i think i saw you and mazberry delight wandering around, i almost said something, but didn't have the balls i guess...
twisted yeah i saw you and your crew rollin home. that 4 runner is bad!
elbine and bagged 87 - its an '00 explorer bumper skin with a bent tubing sub-bumper behind it.
going to reso was a dumb idea for me, i'm just lucky that it worked out ok. it was the first long trip (over 10 miles) since i rebuilt EVERYTHING (engine, and suspension.) i had a couple trips from the shop to the old house, and to the new house. that's it. guess i did a good job! ha ha. i drove out there with a guy i work with with the big ass scott's trailer so in case i broke down it would have somewhere to go, but then at reso my buddy busted his astro van oil pan and it went into the trailer (along with the chopped and doored 74 chevy that came in the trailer) i'm so happy with the way everything just happened to go right for once.
