Yes it should bolt right up. There are two different pinions, one with the highest stud at 1 o clock, the other with the highest stud at 11 o clock. If you match that up you will be just fine. And all you need is the housing and axles and your existing 3rd member will work. I just put a 73 third on an 87 axle housing for the 720.

i started a new thread for the backhalf in the project section. the front's done. i drove it to the last reso and back. it was the breakin run for my engine that i had just rebuilt. ha ha. 700 miles is a good breakin run right?

I jus read the whole thing for the first time, I will be doing something similar I think, so I can steer with my 20"ers too.

the update is the front was done a long time ago. drove to the last reso with the setup. now its in the garage getting a slow and steady more slow, less steady, (minus any forward progress) backhalf. i'm going to have to get my ass in gear tho, i'm moving soon and need to either sell it or put it in storage. my life's about to change bigtime. i'd rather not put it in storage......

hate to see you sell it. FINISH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! i will remind you everyday if you want
