suicide doors project

okay i know your prolly not thinkin about this right now but it looks like it is goin to leak water when it rains. you can see in the last pic where the door jams body line is in the top left corner. if you can imagine the door closed and the rubber touching. there is goin to be a triangular gap about 1/4" big. water is goin to run down the jam and straight in to that hole ruining all the work you've been doing. plus its goin to go down in the rockers and the rain is goin to stink as well. i may be looking at it wrong and all this be for no reason but it was just a thought. it may need a small patch just to close it up

yes that is exactly wat im talkin about may be nothin but just lookin out. id hate for you to do all this work and then paint it and then figure out it leaks

yeah thanks i'll look into that tomorrow while i'm at school, that's the shitty thing about this project, i would be working all day and night if i had the tools then the truck would be at my house.

and possible a red or green pinstripe with the cross pattern and have it flow out the back like this idk yet

I agree with dropped90 on that one.It will leak.Can you make a cap to fit the cab contour?Or will it affect the door movement?Lets not hear that this truck is going to be a pool on wheels.
