suicide doors project

It will leak can you take a pic tomorrow with the hinge out in that spot so we can see how it cn be patched or even massaged out a bit to keep the rain out. like I said before excellent work. with the popper and everything you have done so far have you checked the glass to make sure you have full use still.

what was the issue?

the hinge pockets that are welding into the cab weren't set in deep enough and i didn't realize the pivoting point, so i cut them out, welding them in deeper and closer to the outside panel of the cab corner.

then since i moved those it meant i had to redo the door pockets too cause then they were out of alignment.

it's fixed now and the doors open all the way and there's a 1/4 gap of clearance. hope that helps or makes sence for ya

I really like the upper photo chop. It's really clean. Then again, I am real partial to black and silver.

so man any updates? what did you figure out about the hole we were talking about? you said you were goin to look at it at school and never updated us on the progress.

nah i haven't got the the issue witht the gap on the side and i'm on my christmas break for the next 3 weeks so i won't have time for a while to fix that issue but there is a big gap.

before break i did get both sides done and the poppers work great.
got some new acura integra seats that my friend gave me too.
oh also the doors do open further then that, they go the whole 90 degrees but the cars on the side were in the way.

Nice work bro, with the acura seats do they sit high or are they just sittting in there for now.
