Well no buyers and a good month and a good trip to the new local pick and pull. Today I picked up a set of Chrome door handles and stock tail lights with a black bezel for under $30. A steel if you ask me. Now I just need to find the post on how to red out the tails. I will post pics this weekend when I get them on the truck.

Try the duplicolor metalcast red paint to do the taillights with. A light coat, then a heavy coat and theyll look badass

Ok... It has been forever since I got to touch anything on this beast. Well today I had about 2 hours to kill and decided to try something new. I decided to finish laying paint down on my glove box door and try a test run at redding out a tail light. I had already done most of the smoothing on the glove box previously just no the finishing sanding and priming and paint. Here is what I got....

That glovebox door looks great man. What did you use to red out the tails?

The Dupli Color Red Chrome that someone on here mentioned. Mind you my tape line sux. I also used a buffing pad on a high speed drill to polish up the entire tail light. When I do it for real on my two good tails I am going to take my time and do it even better. This was just a test.

^ x2 - definately like the glovebox door. Also like the flash effect on the tail light lens.

Thanks the flash was just on auto...wasn't too worried just wanted a pic to prove that I did do something to it...first thing in 8 months.
