got the door opened today......took damn near all day... took the door panel off with the door closed, messed around with everything and went inside to relax... then went back outside and had my wife pul the outside handle while i pushed the inside handle and it miraculously opened......lol

next on the agenda is figuring out my "push button" starter. seeing as the ignition cylinder was ripped out of the steering column...literally... i gotta get a way to crank it so i can figure out exactly whats wrong with the truck before i decide what to do with it.

went and bought a used battery for 10.00 to test out the truck with... will be getting 1 or 2 more optimas next week hopefully to use in this truck if iget it running.

well i shipped out the ecm to avpro today... 160.00 for the repair and 31.05 for overnighting it to them means:
a. i'm 340.00 into this truck so far
b. i'm impatient as hell and want the ecm back like last week.......lol

anyways... i have figured out how to do my push button starter 1 of two ways.... using either the cig. lighter or using the windshield wiper switch... some friends of mine who are car audio installer genius' are helping me with that... i'm a car audio installing genius myself... but they know a little more about diodes and relays than i do.......so when it is done.. i'll be happy.
time frame on getting the 92 running look like (hopefully) by late next week.

So the computer was bad then? How long did they say it would take to repair it and send it back?

i sent it off yesterday "overnight" and they got it this morning and repaired it and sent it back already. it shoulkd be back tomorrow or by tuesday at the latest.

yes sir it does... the guy even talked to me for like 30 minutes the ther day when i called and helped me out with a few questions i had as well. earlier today when i called and asked if it could be fixed he said it was already fixed and on the way back...also it has a lifetime service warranty... as long as i "own" the truck if it ever breaks or malfunctions again... just ship it back to them and they fix it for free. so basically if i ever sell it... just have to tell the person who buys it to use my name.....lol
either way thats kickass service right there in my book.
