um not sure. ask marcus i think he had 2500s on his taco. this is looking to be tricky. idk if its cuz its a big bag or its my first time or both.

I'm gonna have to speed it up! I'll be the only slow poke on here!

Hey man, a little tip I learned was to use a piece of 2x4 cut to the height of the bag when fully compressed. Its like 3" for the RE-6. Weld in your lower plates and then put the wood in and mark where the upper needs to go when you got it all jacked up and inside the wheelwell.

3 things though:

1. I'm a first timer and I sould suggest taking another opinion.
2. You gotta remember that the upper plate should be parallel with the lower when laying out. So you might try and see if you can put the upper on top of the 2x4 too to mark it. Make sense?
3. Remember about clearance for the bag!

Got any tips for me and my 4-link now? LOL!

I use a piece of 3x3 square tube. I have one of them that is cut to 3" from the center of the holes on one side, and 3.5" on the other side, so that I can use it to mock up either size bag on the front of a truck.

You are going to have to notch the frame to fit the 2600s. But it can be done, I have them in mine with no issues.

re-6's will fit without rubbing

i made a bracket to bolt to the lower bag mount, it has two bolts on top and a nut on the bottom just like a bag would, i bolted the bracket to the lower mount, stuck the wheel back on, jacked it up to where it wouldnt go any more, measured from the bolts on top, back to the frame, measured from the slots for the bolts on the upper bag mount back, cut it, then let the wheel back down, bolt the upper bag mount to the bracket, put the wheel back on, jack it back up again till it won't go any farther, checked to make sure the upper bag plate was sitting flat on the make shift bag bracket, tacked it to the frame unbolted the bottom bolts, let the wheel back down, unbolted the top bolts, welded the gussets on and there ya go..

BTW I failed english 1 3x
