What does everyone do in the front for the engine crossmember? It is holding the front frame off the ground. I had a couple of thoughts, but I thought it would be nice to see what others have done. I thought about moving the frame up, but I am going to have to lower the motor for the body drop. So if I stepped the frame up, I would have to lower the motor more, possibly have to notch the oil pan. I also thought about making a thinner crossmember, but the arms will still hang down . What did you do? Pics are always good.

More pics from today. Got one pump put together. Cut the front drivers side out. Got the frame step welded up. Got the axle put in place and lined up.

Well, I got some more stuff done. Welded up the step in the rear frame. Made some bushings that fit into the gussets. Made some lower links. Got the 5 lug hubs on the front. Cut the stuff out of the front. Figured out I either need to raise the frame in the front, or get spindles, or both?? I am about 1" away from laying front crossmember, so about 2" away from laying frame. I may do the spindles in order to push the wheel out a little (from what I heard about 1") the tire is getting close to the brake booster. So when I body drop it, I bet it will hit. If the wheel is pushed out it should clear, right? Anyone know? What did you do for the clutch master cylinder? I have heard of people moving it to the inside. Anyone??
