yeah i drove my old mazda with the springs like that for 6 years and drove it hard(it was a burnout machine LOL and never had a problem) no wheel hop and never broke a spring.maybe i was just lucky
the body drop is 2 1/4 on the cab 7 1/4 on the bed because of the z'ing

i gotta question about the z and the bed floor ...so you did the z but left the front bedmount...did you just add spacers to front bed mount to line everything up?

front bed mount might get moved up i still hadnt done anything with it
i am cutting both sides off to finish boxing in that area
there are two bed mounts real close to the front on a regular cab so i may not even put them back on

truck looks good man. i z'ed mine too but i cut the frame straight instead of at an angle. i like your way better.....lol as for the bed mounts, its weird that the standard cab has more mounts than the x-cab does. the bed doesnt need the front mounts since it still has 6 useable mounts left. the front ones are in the way of the plating so cutting dem bitches off is what id do. i also ran my leafs like that on my old xcab i had back in 2000. it de-arched the main and also helped with axle wrap. of course i bagged it like that and the only downfall was that it limited my lift.
