how did u do the windsheild wiper

did a little playing around today
had these laying around the shop (for a datsun l-series engine)

thought it would be cool to put them on the mazda
started the manifold
used the old stock manifold to make a pattern to fit the head



still have to drill the mounting holes and the ports
then i used the carbs to make a plate for the carb side




still have to drill these also
didnt like the size of the tubing for the runners so progress stopped
i think it looks to small the inside diameter is correct so i am gonna have to figure something out


gotta hit the metal shop tommorow and see if i can find some heavier wall tubing


also hit the wrecking yard today and scored the following
tach instrument cluster with clock
two outside chrome door handles
pair of chrome tailight trims
all for 45 bucks and all in mint cond.


anyhow thats it for today more tommorow

pulled the wiring out of the engine bay and ran it out the side behind the fender
it will tuck up under the fender and be hidden


wanted to do remote master and clutch cylinder resevoirs gonna put the resevoirs in the cowl area under the cowl vent

truck looks great and what are you going to do with the brake booster. I went and got mine out of a 93 geo metro and mounts up mint.

where you plan on running your brake lines that ran across the upper part of the firewall that you shaved?

plan on rerouting all the brake lines so they run along the frame
do the proportioning valve down on the frame also

ok did a few more things today
got the new master cylinder resevoir mounted
