wow old thread revivor lol..... so i take it you got the tank fixed and back in the truck?
jesse   +1y
yeah old thread.. and yeah new tank is in
it sat for 3 weeks cause it wouldn't start
just the warm(er) day when i was going to pull out the fuel pump and test it, i tried once more to start it and it started right up..

my assumption is that the brake cleaner used to clean the electrical connector might have frozen

in any case, it's running just fine ever since

i painted the tailgate with a friends band logo for now until i repaint the whole truck.. hahaha

any progress in this build.
jesse   +1y
nope, while laid off it was too cold to do much more than change fuel tank, and now i'm back at work.
hopefully with the nicer weather i might do the drop next weekend... in may my buddies band has their cd release so after that i may start the prep for a repaint of the whole thing

oh... well i guess i did have some progress polishing my 15" pathfinder wheels, but i still need tires for them so they aren't on yet either

i think the non-starting problem was a frozen electrical connector from the break cleaner back in jan. 3 weeks later i tried starting it again and it worked.

finally dropped the thing, but still not on the road.

teaser

drifeshaft @ a shop this week to get new carrier bearing and u-joints then i'll be good to go (hopefully)... still need to crank front torsions a few more turns and put in my poly bumpstops but those should be easy too

should hopefully have a straight bumper soon too (mike? )

oh, and the logo on the tailgate is a band my buddy is the drummer in. -- cd release may 8th at norma jeans in london, on!

2 questions!!!
- do i need other lug nuts to use the pathfinder wheels (much like tuner lugs for aftermarket wheels on some cars)?
- are there any other shift knobs for automatic shifter? (hoping!)

looks good.. gunna go any lower??
jesse   +1y
haha, not likely with this truck
it's costing me enough as it is... just found out today the carrier(hanger) bearing is a dealer only part, $300.... trying to source out something else if i can... ugh

1)Factory lugs will work for the stamped steel pathys and maybe the cast alum ones too. Look at the seat area. It should be cone shaped. If not you will need the mag style lug nuts.
2) No. I have looked.
