okay I did something a little different with my uppers than that ,I cut a wedge out o the sides and rewelded them accross the top, but it will be okay , use at least 3/16 " plate to replace the gap.
Basically you will be adding length to your uppers.
which is fine with stock spindles and no wider rims than prolly 7 " maybe 4wd fenders.
This means ya wont have the crazy camber I have at the moment which is also a good thing,

I am redoing my front end after I get the cab and box in primer.

nice thanks for the advice... yeah my dad is going to be getting me the steel from his work this week so we can fill in the gaps when were convinced there both the same.... now for some more input... which way should i install my tank??

this way I think the tank sits to high and makes the rear look funny... but I can use the bottom port as a drain port should any water build up in the tank...

where this one I like how low the tank sits, and I think it keeps the rear looking clean.... but there's no where to drain water if/when I need to...

I was originally going to install the fuel cell where the tank is now... but didn't have anywhere good to install the tank if i kept the fuel cell there,so I'm thinking the tank needs to stay where it is... and I'm going to put the fuel cell in the front of the bed. what do you guys think??

BTW, about lookin funny, where are ya runnin wires and airlines, maybe something to consider some creativity spent there too, hint hint

I was planning on running all the air lines and wires from the back to the front inside the frame and hiding them altogether.... keep it clean looking... I like that idea of putting the fuel cell under and air tank on top, with the remote purge valve....
