Hey man i found a pretty good stuff on suspension geometry answering alot of your questions in the earlier post on page 3 on minitruckinweb.com Cant remember exactly but it will help with the 4 link setup or any other kind of link you might want to set up.

This is a good tech for rear suspension as i mentioned above

Personally i would make the notch as big as possible that way if you ever want to change wheels or the setup you will never have to change the notch. I see you have cut the mount for the upper arm so its flush with the face of the frame rail. I like what you have done, Do you plan on just running a nut on the outside of the mount? or further modifying the mount? are you adding any gussets to the upper mount?

What you have done looks good
keep it up!

I plan on adding a 3/8 plate vertically above the bag bracket against the part cut out flush and using gussets on top of the bracket, drilling the holes threw the 3/8 plate for the uca shaft mounts and probably just running a nut on the out side of it.... after all aligned up ill more than likely weld the nut in place to keep it from moving around should it loosen up some how.... still waiting for my bridge kit to come in so I can get the back done up....this waiting thing is killing me.... if I knew it would take over a month to get my kit, I would have either ordered it sooner or from someone else... ohh well all I can do now is wait.

good so far
I like the order you are doing this in, except I would want the wheels on to mock up ride height properly.
the only thing missed in your calculations is th OD of your wheel and tire, you need this to locate your axle centerline, and spindle center, half of the OD from those centerlines will be your larger wheel height factor, then by preference you can determine the ride height and travel, but ya need the 4 link to determine that also, tough to explain,........
my build thread tubbin n dubbin answers most of your questions though

you could mod the LCA, there are a few things you will need to change with them, which bags are ya goin with?

I'm going to mod the LCA's I have one all cleaned up, just have the other one to clean up and then both spindles and LCA's are ready to test fit. I'm ordering new upper and lower ball joints this week, and once those are in I should be able to mock up the front end so I know how much of the LCA to cut out to lay frame and to pie cut the UCA and get everything fit so when the bag brackets come in everything will be ready to go.

I plan on running Slam Specialties RE6 in the front and Slam Specialties RE7 in the rear.

well I'm doing what I can with what I've got nothing major. Here is a few pics of what I've done the last couple days.

I looked everywhere for 2.5 X 3 inch tube steel to redo the rear section of the frame behind the notches, and couldn't find it anywhere. the only place I found it at told me I had to buy 24 feet worth, because it was a special order... and I didn't need that much, so I had my dad bend up some steel up at work, which I actually like better because when its all together, and welded up it will mock the original frame look. here's what I came up with. I also have 2 X 3 X 3/16 inch tube steel for the cross member at the very rear of the frame. I'll get a pic of that soon... its buried under some stuff in my garage.
