Thanks! Yes this is the first truck ive put on air but i have had a few cars on coilovers, static dropped trucks but that never really was low enough for me. I'm pretty happy with how its turning out and its been a huge learning curve that's why its taking a little longer than possible. Hoping to have some pictures up and the box mounted again for the first time in over 7 months

Thanks for looking

Really nice job man. Just read through your whole thread. I am kind of stuck on my project because I am using 17" wheels with a 45 series tire (about 24.6" overall) with stock spindles, pie cut uppers, and flipped lower ball joint (still facing downwards though).
Ultimately I think I'm going to have to pocket/notch the frame so my bag doesn't rub. Check out my project in my signature and let me know if you have any advice.

Keep up the great work. Glad to see you got motivated again!

Hey thanks for checking it out! I have read through many build threads to understand some concepts of getting this truck right on the ground. It took my a while to actually figure out the proper configuration of suspension components to lay frame up front especially on these HUGE wheels, I could lay frame on an 18" and a smaller series rubber no problem. I am running drop spindles and its going to seriously save my tires because I'll be rolling as low as possible most of the time. Have you pie cut your upper control arms? I had no choices because no matter what setup i had going the upper ball joints would bind and the solution was drop spindles. But remember those spindles are going to push your wheel out 1 or 2" so I'll have to roll my fenders so the rims to catch on the fender lips. I did not have to pocket the frame with RE6 bags but everything sure is close! I started this project knowing ABSOLUTELY nothing about air ride accept what i had read and taught myself of these forums so this is till a huge learning process for me. I've been going at it here and there the past few days so i have to have some more pictures up soon.Your trucks looking good! Thanks for looking

Is anyone laying frame and using the faction tensions rods without modification? I have some tabs and links bar ends with bushings and i'm planning on building custom ones with some solid stock because m pretty sure you cant lay frame with the oem ones.

Today

Recapped sub frame holes with some plate
finished welding every thing on the front end minus custom tension rods+shock mounts
this truck is going to start coming together very fast once the remainder of the welding is done on the newly lowered drive shaft loop/bottom of the mounts.

What do you guys suggest for shocks ? I'm not looking to order any thing because i want this together fast! I have heard some guys running oem shocks from other vehicles

What can you guys suggest? These are my mounts
