I have ran out of things i can do at the temporary shop before the truck has to be moved back home in under 20 days. Its been between minus 30 and minus 40 C* for the past while and my home garage isn't heated so hopefully it will start to warm up a little bit so i can get back at it once the truck's back home.

There are lots of things i have running through my head to do but want to be able to take my time and do them right rather than rush to finish them in order to be able to move my truck on the right date.

A few things i have planned in the future are

-Relocate engine harness to the exterior of the fenders
-relocate the brake proportion block from the outside of the master cylinder to the inside
it order for my fenders to clear without cutting a notch out
-raise the bed floor/tack in Grant Custom's tailgate skin
-start prepping the rear frame for 4 link
-start prepping front frame for bag brackets

It's very hard for me to look at all the parts i have when i cant start to install them.

I hear ya on the cold garage issue. Have had to resort to my small propane heater on many a cold occasion. BTW, that is a pretty nice looking pile of parts ya got there

Propane heaters are never fun! such poor air quality
The temporary shop(family member on long vacation) has a very large new Radiant Natural gas heater and i would do anything to have one here at home but i`m building a new place next year and the garage will be built to the largest possible specs(including height) allowed in the housing zone and i plan on having Radiant natural gas heat as well as a single lift on the one side. I was lucky enough to be able to purchase 95% of the air ride parts at the same time but I have A LOT of mock up and planning ahead of me. I`m going to need some help with proper triangulation of my four link when i get to that stage.

This will be my first go at air ride so its going to take a little longer than you guys as i said earlier but i am still really looking forward to starting the suspension as soon as i can.

Well i got a new Go Pro HD mini video camera so i can make some snowboard/moto/quad biking videos and it takes alright pictures too. I just stopped in quick at the garage and finished welding the box seams, hit them with the flap disk til they were flush and sealed them up with some primer before the move.

It should be a lot of fun especially with the roll cage, helmet, suction cup, permanent and handle bar mounts i have for it. Get it to to race track, the mountains sledding and everywhere else to get some footage i could never get with a regular camera. When my suspension is done i even plan on getting some cool footage mounting it outside the cab.

I'm looking to get my truck back to my house and get the front end on air first. What gauge of metal would you suggest to use to box in that little rectangular hole left in the frame after you cut off the unneeded factory parts off the outer side of the frame. I would even take my truck home today but the only thing holding me back is that I'm waiting on a new gasket for the pacesetter:(

I saved lots of pictures for reference to do the suspension up front and read that how to and i am VERY confident with getting it done anytime but do you guys have any pointers or others issues I may overlook?

make sure you get the gussets out to the very end of the bag mounts. watch for brake lines and where they go through motion. i didnt pay attention to that and when i laid it out the metal hex piece of the brake line laid under the bag and cut it a little bit. watch for heat areas when running your air line. make sure you have plenty area cut out of your fenders so you tires dont rub anywhere at all. And a personal favorite of mine. Ive seen so many freshly bagged trucks happen this way. Make sure that when you go to drop the truck that the wheels are straight haha. Ive seen so many fenders crumpled because of that. Other than that take your time and measure measure measure. If you think its right post some pictures and let us pick at them. Dont question if its right and weld it up anyways.

Thanks! Those are some great points to keep in mind i will be sure to take all of that into consideration while putting the front end on air. It's been real nice out so i'm hoping to get the car back home as soon as i can!

Well the truck has been mellowing out in the temporary shop and put aside temporarily for snowboarding season. I have some Serious trips planned but the Mazda will not be forgotten. Updates will be posted when I'm back at it. On a side note by B scene decals showed up today
