Making progress, skipped work today to work on it. Still patiently working on the wiring. I found out today that you cant use the original Mazda fan and pulley because it won't clear the water neck. Were you using the stock fan or going electric?

Nice. Um i used the kia bracket thingy for the fan with the kia pully. You cant run the mazda pully anyway because its a different belt type altogether. I was gonna run the mazda fan which i could have if i cut the shroud as its not centered in it with the kia bracket. Also i dont know what accessories you are running and from which vehicle but im running the mazda alt and ac compressor. And to run the compressor i had to cut off the two bolt flange deals on the pulley bracket so the belt would clear

I am trying to stay with the Mazda alt and the Mazda P/S pump. A/C is dead and gone, though I have given some thought to using the Kia acces.just because it does have a good complete A/C unit, but I don't want to deal with the wiring for it. To use the Mazda acces., I will have to re-drill my crank pulley though.

Change of plans. I'm going with the Kia altenator and P/S pump. Will have to come up with something on the hoses, but I think this will be easier than trying to use the stock parts.And it will also cut out some of the wiring removal from the Kia harness.

I see. Might be easier mechanicaly but maybe not in the long run. That means deleting the alt wiring from the trucks harness if your going to use the kias wiring for it. I used the kia crank pulley with the mazda alt and ac. I just changed the pulley On the alt. I was told to run a hyundai pully from what i dont remember but i used the kias and shimmed the shaft so it would be centered and not wobble. It is a tooth off as far as lining up but nothin a belt with 1 less groove couldnt take care of. Honestly it seems like way more of a headache to have to do not one but two harnesses as the lowe harness remaind intact for my with the exception of extending a couple wires

I'll get back to you on that after I study it some more, but I do have the Kia accessories all bolted up now, so should start the wiring and plugging everything together tomorrow if the old lady don't have a fit. Been messing with this thing all week. I think she's needing some personal time...lol

Im kinda at an "i need some help" point. Ecerythings in etc an done. No fuel, no spark, power distribution is all wack. If theres anyone near the kc area that could lend me a hand it would be greatly appreciated as i just moved here and dont know anyone. Even some phone support would be nice.
