geez what a freakin mess.the person who scored the mota didnt score the turbo.who scored the injectors etc?so now we got a unique set up all over the freakin planet and no one wants to check anything.Great.History goes up in flames and the fiddlers play.just so someone can get a mota in their ride.excuse me while I throw up,bj

I dont think you would get a true reading on the comp since its a new motor and the rings have not been seated yet. Not a bad idea to pull the pan and atleast check the tourqe on the rod bolts and mains, not to fun looking at a rod hanging out the side of the block.

yeah i feel the same way. what a friggin waste. id rather not hear about the engine anymore. shes cocky and dont care about what she has. im done with this thread. im going back to work on my truck.

Well Mikey I'm sorry you feel that I am cocky. I can assure you that I am not cocky by any means. I do care about what I bought or I would not have purchased it. After reading some others comments to this posting I decided that I would pull that pan and take pics of the engine. Along with looking at the pistons to see if they are dome or flat, and a compression test once I get the engine in the truck. I have been building my truck for a little over a year and plan to have a clean show truck. I did not want a jasper motor or any other remanufactured engine for that matter. As it stands now I just plan on getting my engine bay painted and putting in my engine along with my weber and pacesetter. It seems that you have nothing but negative things to say about this. I'm new to this forum give me a break.

no you came in like "yep i got the motor its mine.......oh well if it dont work out no biggie, just some overtime and ill buy another one.......im just gonna put it in the truck (like its just another ordinary engine)". we were trying to tell you what you ahve and how special it is and you didnt really care. it was if you were just bragging that you have it and thats it. yeah im negative when it comes to something i care about.

WOW, I think this will be my last post! I am sorry that some of you guys feel so strongly... I am, and never was bragging! I still have not seen the motor myself! All I said in one of my past past posts, is that 1400.00 is not that much, i am willing to take a chance and if it doesn't work then it is one paycheck down the drains and i will work OT to make up for it! I was not being cocky, maybe i should have clarified myself a little better! Oh, and I do care, remember I have a mazda too. I thought the minitruck scene was one where we all stick together! I never would have imagined that this whole thing would turn into an argument! I was just happy that I could go somewhere (mazdabscene) to talk to people who have the same hobbies, interests, and love for mazda's as I do. However, all I found was DRAMA and I don't need/want DRAMA! I just wanted some people to talk to!!

Oh, don't worry I will still post some pics like I told you I would, because I know how much you guys want to know, and how important it is to you!!

Oh, and I almost forgot! Thank You tweaker for all the usefull information!! Even though it is hard to understand you some times!!
