interesting build. wouldn't 4x4 metal been easier for you? then matching the rear would have been simple. but i do like where you are going with the new fenders, great idea thinking outside the box.

Ya that would have been alot easier, but then again I couldnt find any 4x4 fenders locally and these will give alot more clearance.

I found a 4X4 in a junkyard when looking for a driveshaft. It looked like it rolled off of a mountain. Not a straight part on it.

So I was having trouble with part of my steering linkage hitting the control arm, so I made these things.

this is the passanger side without the spacer. Note the bottom of the ball joint hangs down lower than the track rod. This is at ride hight, at compression its even worse.

it also allowed me alot more steering lock, but that brings along alot more problems. More on that later.

Alright, new upper A arm mounts. These get me back to -1 degree of camber, right where I want to be. At the stock location I was at -4 at ride height and up to -6 at full compression. I also made them adjustable so I can dial in my castor up top.

VERY creative on the UCA spacer / relocation. I went thru several ideas on reducing negative camber but never thought about the one you did.

Now the real question will be how will it handle with the relocated UCA pivot point. My guess is by spacing the UCL pivot point up AND raising the lower ball joint, the basic geometry angles "should" remain unchanged. The other question would relate to steering geometry as it pertains to tierod angles VS control arm angles (bump steer issues).
