In other news, ordered my tires today. Toyos, hopefully they will be sticky.

Im back to working on this bike too, since its a little more warm inside.

I just realized I spent 450$ on a set of tires for a truck I paid 300$ for, with an engine I paid 250$ for. Damn tires are expensive.

Yep, they are expensive, but for all of the suspension mods you can do the tires probably make the biggest difference in handling.

LOL, I hear ya on the price of tires these days

Goodyear 245-45R 20's are hella expensive and I have a feeling I will get less than 8,000 miles out of my first set

Slow Roller - what bike is that one? Can't remember ever seeing that big of a disk on the front of a bike.

Ducati monster engine, my frame, honda rc51 forks, my triples, buell xb front wheel and brakes, ducati 999 rear wheel, gsxr 1000 swingarm cut up.

It was my first street bike. Its been through many phases and rebuilds and Ill never get rid of it.

Its also the one that crippled me 4 years ago. Thats buell ZTL brake technology.

well I have to run small wheels and low profile tires If I want to get the most steering lock out of it. Any bigger and they would be hitting the steering box and frame.

Ill be running 195 45 14's. Tiny little bastards. Ill have junk tires on the back though when im actually sliding it.

just curious...but are you gonna run the stock rear? And if so are, you gonna leave the drum brakes on there?
