Hmmm, looks like Mr. Moderator is gonna have to put his foot down and squash some pornographic pics being posted on the Forum..........

Ok, just kiddin. That was kinda funny when I noticed what I missed the first time I saw that pic.

If you look closely in the background you will eventually find alot of strange things.

hate so say it but I may just run the stock front end. The 4 runner tire opening is so huge it just looks out of place. And this looks good. 4x4 fenders would be perfect.

Looks good, but unless you roll those fenders pretty aggressively, you won't be able to steer full lock at that height. I like the lines of the 2wd metal better, but I think I'll have to go the 4wd route too, and I'm not nearly as low as you are.

Ill be able to get full lock with the fenders as long as I run the 14 inch wheels. I think the 17"s are going to get into the cab some before I hit full lock. I gotthe 17"s so I can get cheap or free worn out tires off of sports cars. Not gonna find any free worn out low profile 14" tires. I think ill use the 14"s for daily driving and autocrossing. I may have to buy some super low profile 17"s for the front. I plan on pulling out the front fenders as much as possible like the rears.

I got a wilwood proportioning valve for the rear. I need to get a line lock for the handbrake so I can use it as an emergency brake and get rid of the stock cable system.

Sounds like a good plan. A hydro e-brake will help a lot. Talking about helping, I didn't see a power steering pump there, are you running a manual setup?

A good power steering is a must for drifting, in my opinion

Yep manual steering. I'm going to try it like this for now. Its a little quicker ratio than stock. If it sucks I have two spare pumps and id have to adapt a power rack. I probably will when I do the engine swap.

hey slowroller i would say go for it and try the manual rack , i know a few people who prefer it. but imo it sucks for drifting and grip as well. i had a manual rack on my fc when i first got it and did 2 events and garaged it because i hated it andd had to switch to p/s. just something to think about i would hate to see you do all this work and get it rollin and get to your first event and hate the truck.
but other then that truck is lookin great and you have given me many ... many ideas for my build that i might just have to steal from you lol. btw what are you or going to run for rear suspension?

The problem I see with a manual setup is that during quick transitions (like an "s" shape, consecutive turns), the steering spins really fast and it is hard to stop it at the right moment. There's a lot of people who run them and say they like though. But if you look at the pro drifters car's, you will see that they all run a power steering setup.
