Mikey would be late to his own funeral! lol I spun a rod bearing in my last Mazda, but it was BAD. Had to cut the crank .010 to get rid of the damage. Mikey, you gotta line on a 2.0 head that's good enuff to use for mech lifter swap?

Ah yes, the wifey told me last night the kick panels arrived. Priority mail and all! Geez, you sir, are a class act. Thank you!
LMAO, don't come stalking our house... I'll be buying that glock sooner than later! Lol

I'm an electrical engineer... Usually a desk jockey, lol. I took an assignment to go out in the field on the construction phase of a project we did. I'm the electrical construction manager. We are building a ferric chloride plant. I'm working 60 hours per week and 4 travel, plus per diem. It's a pretty good gig for the next two months. I'm not going to have a life, but I'll be raking in the $$$$.

Yeah, it's 50 for pump and bracket. I didn't even think to see if the pump had seized. I'll check when I get back to the yard. It'll be a few days, though. Thanks, let me know if you find one.

So... funny story. As I've mentioned in this thread, I am currently working out of town 6 days a week. My fiance told me the Mazda (which is sitting in the garage untouched) was leaking coolant or something and I needed to check it out when I got home Saturday night. So I walk into the garage and open the hood to look for a leak... to my surprise, the stock engine and transmission is GONE!!!!
I couldn't even process what happened. I was so confused!
3 of my AMAZING friends came over on Tuesday night and pulled the engine in about 5 hours. My fiance and 3 buddies all kept it a secret from me and I had no idea about it. Best surprise ever. I honestly can't thank them enough. I owe them big time!

PS - I sold my S10 on Saturday night to a guy in Georgia. I had that truck since 2003:(

It was on Craigslist for a month and Mautofied for 1 week. Can't believe it sold that fast, but very happy with the money I got for it.
It will go toward a new GMC Sierra Crew Cab next summer. Can't wait to finish the Mazda now!

Thats awesome. You have to love good freinds and family. They are what keeps us motivated and on track.
