90excab BD - project GetBY.. bed repair started..

Oh its a good setup, was used for a very long time on Chevy Caprice's. The only problem with the traverse is they like to bind up on ya. Easily corrected with a hyme or superpivot bushing on one end of each bar.

We did rubber bushings all the way and all shop made. Never had a problem with binding, we used long arms too. Tried to minimize pinion angle change.

It was good to find those pictures, it helped with my motivation, now if it was that easy to help with my budget.. to close to Christmas now, and the next 2 weeks of work are gonna be rough. Prob little to no progress. I did put most interior panels back in. I am about ready to install poppers and an alarm, then i think I am going to try my hand at fiberglass with that console. Also plan to extend the shifter 6-8".. maybe kick it back on an angle. This stuff costs little to no money right now.. as I have most of the stu soon I need to shave the firewall on the wagon for my buddy, he is waiting on me to weld it up to install his heat.ff to do it.

So after 18hrs I welded up my first firewall... wasnt on my truck.. it was on the wagon.. but that project is now out of the way.. time to pull the engine out of mine, fix the oil leak, tackle some trailer fenders.. I hope to have the engine out by christmas... well since I dont have any real pictures of my project here is what I worked on..

Nothing of the finished work.. all in all 12 holes welded up. car delivered back to my friend, a little experience gained, truck back in my garage, reinvigorated.

Well worked on the truck for a couple hours this morning.. got it up on stands, started stripping the wiring etc... got the starter etc off. maybe a couple hours more work and the engine is ready to come out...

What were your prices.. tsc was like 33$ for 9x32
