Thanks, I am hoping the paint will add extra 100 hp and 10 mpg. Lol. Got my second fender today, but with my work schedule probably not going to get anything done for at least three weeks.

Well after working about 70hrs last week and the week before I got sunday off.. spent time with the family..read through everyone's threads here.. Re-read MIKEY's entire build thread...

then about 1pm today I couldn't take it any longer..

4.5 hrs later.. the second fender is in.. welding is pretty much done.. need to break out the flap wheels and clean everything up.. pictures below... they didnt turn out very good, it was overcast and very cold today..

Well I was looking around over on SSM.. found another feature of the truck.. this one actually had an engine pic.. nothing else really new here.. but thought I would post it up.. more interior pics too..

Loving the colour

Well I spent a couple hours cleaning up the welds today.. I can't find seam sealer at the local parts houses.. so after cleaning up the welds I started messsing around with the engine. I tried to put the AC and the EGC both on but after a few hours of farting around I realized I must not have the correct brackets for the AC. so I just gave up on the AC.. and cleaned up my EGC brackets and boxed up some stuff to sand blast next week.

I also won a Weber on Ebay, I have to order the correct adpater and a shorter airfilter since I am body dropped but I should save about 100$ off a new kit. I doubt anyone will want the stuff but I will be tossing my stock carb, ECU, and wiring along with , some tail lights etc.. up for sale in a little bit.. carb ran ok.. the idle solenoid was shot so I took the spring out..

Well got some sandblasting and paint done.. Picked up my seam sealer etc.. debating on whether or not I am going to try to clean up and paint the entire engine bay or not.. I am not building a show truck.. prob just going to leave it all black.. maybe paint the brake booster or something.. nothing crazy..

Well I got the Weber today.. the air filter was ruined during shipping but other than that I am very happy. I have to order the correct adapter, a new air filter etc.. but over all very happy. Got my EGC mounted up, some hoses plumbed, wiring harness removed along with the computer.. Guess I will toss that stuff up for sale.. doubt anyone wants it but I hate the thought of tossing it.. pics below..
