90excab BD - project GetBY.. bed repair started..

So having problems with the Weber.. the throttle will not drop back down correctly.. I have checked for binding and lubed the cable. Twist the carb by hand it's all good.. use the foot pedal and barely apply pressure and it stays around 3k if you give it a quick stab it drops.. I am at my wits end.. makes driving it in stop and go traffic a problem. It's like it needs a soberstronger return spring.

Update tonight.. took the carb off.. cleaned it up and reinstalled it.. samething.. tweaked the throttle cable bracket mount and MAGIC.. it seems good.. need to drive it .. but has developed a header leak. I am going to try to fix that in a day or two.. well I did get a couple pics from Monday..

id be interested in a few close up/ more detailed pics of that york installed on the motor if ya would man... i love how those run compaired to the factory sanden converted to greese.. (sanden works great, but hottt as all hell)

Thanks guys.. I hope to get the last couple bits sorted out soon. Rotten what are you looking for specifically..I have lots of pics just don't post them all. A few pages back are pics of the engine on the stand.

Thanks, I am happy with the color, I plan to start trying my hand at repairing some of the body damage next then more of the purple will leave, someday it shall be gone.

Got the steering box bolt out.. going to find an allen to replace it.. replaced the header gaskets.. seems good.. wish it werent going to rain.. I would drive it tomorrow.. but no wipers.. = no drive..
