Not that much trouble she was a little steamed a long weekend and I spent zero family time. I understand that, i was not expecting so many problems on the brakes but live and learn. We are going bowling tonight, to try to catch up some of that.

Well I drove it to work today. Everything went fine until tonight when I stopped by my buddies and he tried to drive it. Now the thing won't idle, off idle is fine, no adjustment I make has any effect. Finally decided to just limp home. Turn in my subdivision, my idle shoots to 4k rpms.. wth?... frustrated, and the wife is leaving town for work for a few days the truck is gonna sit for a little while.

Any ideas on the idle?

Got the truck idling again. Found a slew of problems. Vacuum leaks, the idle solenoid is bad, so I pulled the spring, adjusted the mixture and the idle speed etc. It's back running again, will need to drive it to fully sort it out. Ultimately i want a Weber and toss the carb and computer away. I am short on funds now with the xb etc.

Been working on the wiring. Trying to clean up the engine bay wiring. I don't have a before but this passenger harness was a rat's nest. Next up is the battery stuff.

throw a webber and header on it and get rid of all that random junk!!!! way worth the money

mines carbed and the wiring on the passenger side to the computer ect. is hidden same with the 1 guage battery terminals and all the vacuum lines. the one coming out the drivers side for headlights ect are on the outside of my rad support
