So I checked out different mock ups tonight. I think I am sticking with what I did. The lower plate is on an angle and with that the top plate is pretty straightforward. It could kick up a little but not enough for me to worry about. I might change my mind after I drive the truck and cycle the suspension but i think I is all good. I used a cut piece of 4x4 to stimulate the compressed bag and it really seems good. I hopefully will have it on the ground this weekend. It really needs a bath.

Is it just me or does the latest pictures not really look like the truck at all when featured other than the color which i still dont think is that close? maybe its just the tiny pics haha.

At some point the truck got some bad graphics but it's the same truck. The interior is the same and the welded up bed is the same. Unfortunately the nice hard line setup is long gone. Once I get it out and get it washed I will post some more pics. I have most of the interior out right now fixing things like the power window, wiring, and adding door poppers etc but the seats and door panels are still there from the feature. This truck has been abused.

I plan to relocate the air ride under the bed long term simple and clean is more my thing.

Thanks for the kind words progress is hard when you only get an hour or two here or there. If I can get it on the ground it will be time to clean it and the garage up then re-evaluate what should happen next. I mean that will be rebuilt air ride and almost all rebuilt brakes. Maybe something smaller like engine wiring next . Lol.

Got it back together after thrashing most of the weekend... got a serious leak in the drivers side air bag.. (the fitting is just not tight enough.. doh..) but I drove it around the cul de-sac..

well here is a gratuitous on the road shot..

brakes work, but def need to be re bled again... it was good to drive it after 4 weeks of working on it.

Anyone know any place to buy a clear corner light other than Thailand off eBay?

Well I signed papers on an 08 xb tonight with 95k miles. Pick it up tomorrow. Drove the truck to my buddy's with the wagon and then the car wash. Did great.
But prob taking a break still in the dog house for working on it all three days last weekend so this weekend is family time.
Getting a battery tomorrow, and next is time to clean up the wiring.
I live in Georgetown KY. Home of the Camry. About 4 hours from Nashville and pigeon forge.

I got the xb instead of the Tacoma crew cab to save money and gas. That way i keep the truck.
