not bad prices if you need to, but you dont really need new parts to lift the stock suspension. just crank/re-index the front torsions until your axels look like they cant possibly function any longer (or you are on the bump stops), then back off, and for the rear just blocks and new ubolts to level it with the front.

i have never ever done that before and honestly wouldnt know where to begin even with the sticky. and honestly i am worried about the front cv joints from the extra lift

well mazda already factored in that pretty much (by adding that upper bumpstop), i still wouldnt recommend you keep it resting on the bumpstops for max height, but that is where these trucks are limited. the rear is a bit easier, and there should be a few threads around here with some pictures (even if the thread is regarding lowering, you'll be putting the block on the opposite side of the leafs/leaves (!)

here's a pic of my 4x4 rear end, which i'm pretty sure is completely stock. notice axle on outside of leafs. dont mind the finger.

and here is my lowered truck, missing 2 leafs, and notice the axle on the inside of the leafs...

hey thanks that helps out! i get the idea of the blocks but as i have never attempted it or seen it done the torsion bars baffle me. we have always had solid axel trucks around so this set up is new to me

haha i already have a weber on it, i got the truck that way lol. but as for right now the damn thing is runnin like crap, starter is all f'ed up and probably need a new air filter for the carb. and broken toys is a club. im not sure if we have any meetings but we are a club of all people with all different kinds of trucks. lowered and lifted. if you wana know more about broken toys just pm me mate. and really there is a header for it on ebay for a buck fifty.....hmmmmm might have to look into that but i can get one offline if i need to lol. i didnt know that the head would work on the g54b. but if you need any help on this rig im pretty good at diagnosis lol. and your welcome for the reply mate. and thanks for the link lol i have been lookin for a place where i can get some suspension parts lol.
jmansb2600   +1y
yea i got mine with the weber too. it runs alright but diesels sometimes when i shut it down and bogs when cold. heck i just got a job and some money so i was hunting for the header but wasnt able to find it yet but i know its there i have seen it lol. yea im seriously mechanicly minded but have no actual practical knowledge like wrench time so im kinda in the dark as far as it goes. i know that link has me drooling for those parts but i dont have the bank yet. im gonna try and get the head from my dads place so me and a buddie can try to get it to work. i know there arent many bits and pieces for my rig like a yota but i do love it and you cant beat free trucks lol

found the 2.6 header for the mitsu powered trucks but i says 2wd only. i feel like that might be bs or it might rub something idk. anyone know for sure?
87_b2600   +1y
like the pics mate. and as for the dieselin goes try adjusting your air/fuel mix or your idle screw. cant remember which one it was for when mine did that but it doesnt diesel anymore lol. and i got noda on the header. i was wondering the same thing.
jmansb2600   +1y
hmm ill have to google that ish and find out cause i know its needs adjusting badly. well not thaaaaat bad but yea . yea type in 87 b2600 header on ebay and you will find two but they say for the 2wd models so heck if i know. i am temped to get one anyways and make it work. i love loud four bangers especially the larger displacement ones. i have been wondering about getting a used engine from a junker and having it rebuild but id love to bore it out to gain some more displacement. i wonder how you would go about getting oversize pistons...
