This is what I am curious about. If this is a vent line or a fuel return, why is it going into a fuel filter? If this is a fuel pressure line why is it coming out at the end of the gas tank instead of being part of the fuel float assembly; isn't that where the fuel flow begins?

Hey Chevelle, do you any suggestion for me as far as the power steering pressure hose? It looks like the Ford power steering pump is 16mm and the steering box is 14mm. The return hose should not be that hard to figure out but I need some advice on the pressure hose.

Nice build. I'd hEard that the mustang 5.0 convert able engine mounts are less a headache but I'm late you guys are done

From looking at the convertible motor mounts, I think if I had used them then it may have saved me the hassle of having to re-drill the motor mount brackets to move the engine forward 1 inch (would have been swapped side to side I believe). Good tip and I know someone else said it or wrote it and I overlooked that before.

i had an 87 b2600 carbed 4x4 and it had an electric in tank low pressure pump. you might be able to just connect to the lines and run keyed power to the ecu input on your factory fuel relay for your fueling needs. im pretty sure the relay is under the driverside kick panel

I do not have power steering on my truck- never had it. I work at a semi truck dealer and we build our own power steering hoses. I don't see why you couldn't have a hose built at a parts store with two different ends. Just tell them what you need and how long.

Yeah I got tired of trying to figure out what vehicle might have a hose that would work and built one online at this website. That let me choose the size and shape and angle of both ends and it's pretty dang cheap too.

nice. anything else your stuck on? I want to see this truck of yours do some burnouts or something soon.

I'm not quite ready for burnouts yet, in fact still a couple of weeks away from firing it up, but I do have a couple of pictures to share.

Here's my aluminum "Scirroco style" dual pass radiator; not very big but it does fit in the opening without cutting the radiator support, in fact it doesn't even interfer with the hood latch. Hopefully it can keep the temps of this 302 under control:

And just a general picture of the motor, showing the 302 sitting snuggly in the engine bay.
