I certainly appreciate replies. From the days when I used to build and sell control arms I learned that most vehicles have an upper arm that is about 3/4 the length of the lower. So if I move the arm mounts in 2" then make the arms 1" longer than stock I still have a 2" overall narrower track, and better camber.

Plus moving the lower balljoint under the arm move the spindle up 4" and since I am moving the lower arm mount up 2" I will have better angles for the bag as well. Plus moving the frame rails in one inch along with the longer lower arm also allows me to move the bag closer in for more lift and a softer ride.

The steering is the only question. I will have to make sure the drag link or rack is the proper width before I build mounts for it. So I will have to figure out what width they are by asking someone.

Since I am using an FE3 I should have the room on both sides of the engine. The ony question will be accessories bolted to the front. My front frame horns may have to snake around a bit.

Any thoughts or questions on this?

I heard the fox body Mustang rack was also popular.

I used a Tacoma rack on my last Mazda and it was not right. The toe changed going up or down. Gotta make sure this one is.

Corolla. hmmmm. Might have to do some measuring at the pick n pull.

I got a rhd box from australia for mine but im thinking a rack may be better. Interested to see your findings

Dang I need a factory RHD box.

On my last mazda I use the Tacome rack because it's a rear steer rack, meaning its mounted behind the wheels. I just flipped it over and mounted it in front. Worked great.

That's one secret I had been keeping until I started building the frame. I am going RHD like my last truck. But the factory LHD box would have to mount outside the frame rails.

It cost me around $400 to get one shipped here from aus. Ive seen the tacoma flip before also. A rack may give more room for my turbo and upper control arms.
