Yay it's a light! I remember someone said that the lighted ashtray was one of the options that made the truck an "lx" but I looked at that orange rectangle and thought... nah that doesn't look like a light. I'll have to look and see if I'm a lucky winner with a burned out light or an empty bracket.

Cusser,

Must be time to visit:

It's insane to think of how many AWESOME options our trucks in the states didn't come with..rear window defroster, factory harnessed fog lights with the correct dash switch, power Windows and locks, headlight washer system! * I found a complete j.d.m. setup cheap .. oem in box..going in our extended cab longbed towpig* .. and there are soo many more..

Nah, led is too modern, and at present any light may not add value to me. But this might change, as I'm scheduling a "secret project" for today. If I do that project, I'll take photos and start a new topic.

You, Axel Breaker Earl, and SinCity might have the best chance of guessing what that project might be.

I know.. I know for a fact the rear window defroster was an option in canada, but even here Ive only ever seen one.

WooHoo! Are you installing the CD player??!!??

Has hell frozen over?
Cusser tradin' in his tapes...
Nah... he's probably cleaning his duct work.
Besides, he bragged about getting the last tape player on the internet.

He's a hunt and peck typist, so he'd have to learn how to work that computer a little better if he stepped out of the stone age.

I painted the double front door this morning, had to decide on which the 23,762 shade of dark brown at Ace to paint it, finally decided to "classic brown" (they didn't have "cassette brown"). It took significantly longer than I expected as I had forgotten about the jambs and that the heavily textured finish made it a b*tch to get paint into all the depressions. But a new door costs at least $1400 (fiberglass, oak-looking, Feather River from Home Depot) plus about $400 installation, so this puts that off a year or three.

So nothing to report on the B2200 today, it's almost 2pm now, and Mrs. Cusser wants to do the town tonight.

That doesn't mean she wants to do everyone in town. It means a movie and dinner, maybe a bath or jacuzzi.
