All you need to do is slightly bend the tie rod and it will clear the pitman arm. It worked perfectly on mine.

Thats all we did on mine too...drive it daily and no probs at all either in over a year.

I-Beams suck, James (bagged85) is right, your better off going to a A-arm setup.
SD has great stuff, just not the I-beam brackets the design is a bad one.
I would go with silverstars if you going to keep your beams.

After you guys bent your tie rod did the truck still ride and feel the same at highway speeds?

yea. mine bent it self from hittint he frame. lol. needs to be aligned after u do it tho...

If you could have rode in my truck when I had I beams compared to how my truck rides now, you'd see whe I went with a yota clip. I had narrowed my I beams 1.5", 4x4 pitman arm bent tie rod etc. It sucked, ya you can drive it every day but try having a death grip on your steering wheel for 2200 miles straight. When I drive it now I hardly have to hold on at all. But it's not that easy, cutting off the front of your frame can be pretty intimidating.
