No problem on the wait Bobby. Haven't gotten myself into any trouble yet. I'll probably be working on this a bit tomorrow.

i usally cut an inch out so i can plate the lower mounts with a 1/4 plate so when u air it out and hit the floor the sound is incredable. and it only takes about 45 minutes to do and u dont have to worry about dropping the motor and all the other crap. and mike the steering u dont have to worry about unless you z or good to the doors. a single u-joint fixes it all.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot in the next day ro so. I need to get some more of the steering out. The tie rod ends don't want to break free. But I will have to drop the motor. I have about 1.5" clearance under the hood, and have a 1 3/4" or 2" body drop on the way.

My truck is a little different than other Toyotas. It's smaller. If I layed body on 19s, I would be skinning the hood.

yeah you should be able to lay rocker on 19 with out touching the hood

^^^ i dont think so, i put my 19 (with 215/35/19) infront of my 89 cab and set a fender on it, the cab still has the pinch on it and the fender sat on the tire, so layin rocker, that lip where the hood goes would have to be trimmed.

I measured my fender and compared it to an 89-95 style truck. My fender is 2 inches shorter height wise. I only want 18s anyways. 19" tires are pricey.

wow youre gonna start a hate group against you cuz you can fit 20's to the rockers. of course we all know about trimming the fenders and so forth thats a givin but you might want to do some research before you say that cant be done.

my oil pan and tranny bell housing were both hanging below the stock rails so sectioning the stock control arm mounts would have caused me to have actually have to raise the motor or build a new pan just to lay frame.

Z'ing a frame is simple as long as the motor is out, or the cab is off. the only real hard part I found is welding the inside plates onto the side of the rails while the motor is in place. if the cab and motor are both in place I would think it would be incredibly hard to weld the plates to the inside of the frame rails, but Im sure someone on here would disagree because they always do.

heres some more Z'ing pictures from when we did Miles rodeo, this method worked great for keeping it all aligned and straight.
