KRIS AND JOE.. GOOD IDEA

JOE, YOU HAVE SOME KICK ASS DEALS, AND NO ONE WANTED TO BUY FROM YOU FOR A WHILE BECAUSE OF THE DRAMA THAT HAPPENED ON HERE AND OTHER FORUMS. AND US MINI TRUCKERS STICK TOGETHER. BUT HEY IF YOU WANNA TAKE THE TIME TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY HAVE A PROBLEM THEN I DONT MIND BUYING FROM YOU. AND I KNOW YOU CANT GIVE A REFUND OR EXCHANGE EVERYTHING, BUT.. IF YOUR EMPLOYEES HAVE MADE A MISTAKE AND SENT OUT THE WRONG PART, OR A PRODUCT IS DAMAGED IT SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF WITHOUT US HAVING TO PAY FOR SHIPPING. AND I LIKE THE WAY YOU ARE ON HERE TRYING TO GET SOME IDEAS AND YOU ARE WILLING TO WORK WITH US. AND IN MY BOOK IT MAKES ME WILLING TO WORK WITH YOU. WE DONT ALL EXPECT AND OVER NIGHT CHANGE, BUT YOU WILL GET ALOT OF IDEAS FROM THE GUYS ON HERE.. AND LETS GET THIS MINITRUCKING COMUNITY BACK TOGETHER..

KRIS. YOU ARE DOING GREAT THINGS WITH THE SIGHT, AND WE DO NEED TO "STOP THE HATE" AND ALL GROW UP A LIL. I KNOW I HAVE SAID THINGS ON HERE THAT DIDNT NEED TO BE SAID. AND I WANT TO THANK BOTH OF YU GUYS FOR STARTING TO TURN THIS AROUND AND MAKE THINGS RIGHT

How about changing the policy that if something has been installed it can't be exchanged. I understand you can't resell an item that's been installed because it's been used but if the part doesn't fit and can't be fully installed it really isn't used and isn't something that should be re-sold anyway. Perfect example. A few years ago I purchased a set of strut-bags for my 2001 Sentra. I got them and they weren't even close to fitting. After calling out there first and explaining the situation they told me to bring them back with one of my factory struts so they could see what the problem was. After making the drive out there they told me there was nothing they could do because they had been installed. The problem is they never were installed. I attempted to install them but because they didn't even come close to fitting they were never installed. $500 down the drain.

ETA: I still have my receipts somewhere from this.

OK, that is what I am here for. I assume you still have the struts. Send them to me using RA#JM9-01 on the outside of the box and I will handle. Best to send me a sample so I can view the original problem. I will take care of you, just allow me to help and resolve this only with me.Thank you, Joe Morrow

Actually I threw them out a while ago as they were just taking up space. I've since moved on learning from my loss but I brought it back up as an example of something that needs to be changed with your company.

Joe,
Honestly, you need to give us reasons to trust your company and products again. I own a shop in Glendale and have had a couple bad experiences with some of your products. One a long time ago(7-8yrs maybe), we installed a set of lift spindles on a 98 2wd c1500. The customer brought them to us and a week later the axle broke loose from the spindle.. His first response was to sue us, when figured out the problem and he took them back and found out that someone there sold him a set of returned spindles that had broke and the previous customer tack welded the center to get it home. I swore then I would never use anything aim again... then we did a 4/6 on a 2004 chevy. I ran out to MESA to get the kit on a friday so I could have it installed for the customer to leave to IOWA the next day. I got all the way back to Glendale and there were no hardware for the notch and it was missing 2 pages of the instruction manual... The u-bolts you could tell have been threaded before. another return that was sold?
You wouldnt still be in business if everything was like that, so I realize they may be isolated incidents but running a business I can't afford to take that chance. I really want to try some of your other products, kind of a tease everytime I get a new magazine and see the great deals.
I built a great relationship with Rick from Streetbeat, and built some of his trucks, the green c-10 being one of them. He has since sold the business and don't feel the personal connection I once did, I miss that.
I am glad that you are here and listening to our advice, I hope that one day our shop can use you again for a resource of parts and service.

I would like to clear the air on some issues the best that I can.
Those that post for the most part do not understand my passion to make sure I resolve any problem. It is my responsibility to be aware of a problem in my company, but it is an awesome task. We receive over 2,000 phone calls a day and I try to have my ear to the ground. Generally the only way I hear about an issue is when I get an email DIRECTLY to myself. In the past, I avoided the forums quite frankly, because the language turned me off, so I have not been able to address real issues.
An issue can get magnified X 10 as it floats thru cyberspace. I am real encouraged by the politeness and factual responses that I have received at this early stage. I want to personally THANK Kris Bloom for allowing me the opportunity to address and rectify real issues. I have never meant any members of SSM any harm. I intend to donate for the good of the Mini Truckin Community and SSM. I am a sensitive guy that cares about his products.
While I am getting everything out there, I am semi-retired, working remote at home, but I am on top of any issues you wish to address. I am 68 years YOUNG, healthy, and intend to be involved for years to come.

Thank you
Joe Morrow

Please guys, lets
