Nevertheless, this is a report by a enthusiast and I am sure if the news was bad, that I would have received it the same as good news.

I am waiting.............zzzz for the Suspension GODS

Thanks for your comments

Im not sayign they would actually take the time to review your stuff or anyone elses for that matter because they have better things to do but as far as feedback I trust, thats about it. I could probably have bolted these arms to my golf cart and wrote a review of similar nature. Im not trying to be mean spirited but what good is a review that says it was shipped in a good box, paint looked good and it bolted on.

Joe,

I can do one better I have a hand built regulated power supply that can support 200amps 50% duty and 100amps continuously up to 14.4VDC (Alternator charge voltage) With the same exact ripple of rectified 3Phase AC from a Automotive alternator. The unit has in parallel a 1,000CCA Deep cycle marine battery as well. The voltage is variable from 9VDC up 14.4VDC regulated to test the current draw at differing alternator cycles. as well as in an 'Engine off' State.

Please let me know if you have any questions.Best regards,Doug DeHavenDJDLaboratories

This is nothing against Joe, but the reviews for AIM thing I also believe is bullshit. In the article it said that all joints were TIG welded, theres not one TIG weld on them. Basically he doesn't know his ass from his mouth, so hows he going to give a good or bad review

We TIG on request, no problem, but our production runs are MIG welded.

I did not catch the error in the Post myself, and I regret that I did not. Members should know a TIG weld gives an even cleaner appearance, but is not a strength or safety issue. However, look closely at the welds, we are PROUD of our welds. We will be happy to TIG at no extra charge upon request.

Thank you for pointing this out.

I sent Joe an email pertaining to my last couple posts here. He replied within minutes...and not in email. He called me personally. I have experienced poor customer service and lack of product knowledge with AIM in the past. Joe explained how that aspect of his business got out of hand and seemed rather sincere about turning it around.

He called me personally. I wasn't asking for a hand out nor did he offer one but the phone call, man to man, was genuine. When a business begins to go to hell it is almost impossible to turn it around 100%. Joe seems to be wholely devoted to the success of his business. It is my opinion that he has recognized his business will have most definitely failed if operations continued in the driection they were headed and has a plan of action to return things to what, apparently, they used to be.

Some people have been burnt. So have I. But honestly, I didn't even try to contact them about it because of the horror stories I had heard. Is it their fault for giving me parts that didn't work perfectly right out of the box? Yes. Is it my fault that I didn't inform them that they may have faulty production methods of that certain part? Yes...I use the excuse that there was a communication barrier but Joe is working hard at knocking that barrier down.

These are all still words and only time will tell the true outcome. Today I ordered the complete S10 front end kit with the spring buckets & bags...everything they say will do the job. I ordered them raw and could care less how the box looks when it arrives as long as it's all there so when I have a chance to install these on my virgin project frame I will be able to provide an accurate review of quality and installation. It is only a frame though. I will not be able to road test them but if I'm comfortable with the installation, I'll get a set for actual use.

Still...just words as of now. Patience from us is going to play a huge factor in whether or not AIM can become the company we need as a parts supplier.

The first test on the DC5000 from Mr. Doug De Haven:

Joe,

Thank you!

Busy, does not even begin to describe it haha.

I did do a preliminary test of the DC 5,000 here is what I had posted,

-----------------
"The spec sheet I got from Joe lists the compressor at 1.115CFM at 140PSI

My testing, 1.19CFM at 140PSI Almost Spot on!

My test voltage was exactly 12.3VDC

The compressor pulled 34.78amps

The head temp after the test was 206F

This is only preliminary Final testing is still 4 weeks out."

More will follow....stay tuned. I aint Skeered!

Best regards, Doug DeHaven
