my 2 cents is this i have owned a gm and ford and guess what when i drove them off the lot and the value fell threw the floor and i got fucked much like millions of other americans when i go to trade it in or sell it because of there overpriced shit...was the government or gm/ford there to bail me out...ahahahahaah fuck no they laughed at me and said he we can add that to the next vehicle so i got smart dumped there pieces of shit and bought a nissan...largest factory in the us....and i couldnt be happier to see all these major corps failing knowing what its like to be an average joe smo...here my advise..sell your shit for a fair price and stand by it maybe then people would be more willing to help

This makes no sense..i used to have a 89 prelude..and hardly anyone makes anything for it..yet the 3rd gen prelude people are still moding, and turboing and getting parts for it just fine...even if they are used parts..they are still around almost 20 years later.

There are many different opinions on here about what should or shouldn't be done. But we can sit here and yack all we want about what we think should be done on some forum on-line. I think that we as mini truckers who have never stopped expressing our selves, need to stand up and say something. I personally think that we need to start writing letters to our state represenatives, to our newspapers, to our news station, to whoever might listen, and tell them what we want. Write as many letters as neccessary. Tell them our opinions. I feel that our goverment has stopped listening to us and what we want.
But do as you want, its just a suggestion, and like i said before this is entirely my opinion.

it is the united states government. it was not put together to help everyone out. it was made to govern and guide the country. so every time someone comes up with there hand out you dont have to fill it full of money. when the banks needed money that was different. that was our economy and we were going to in way worse shape long term if we didnt do the buy out with them. now with the big 3 all that is going to happen is that they will be restructerized if we dont bail out. which means everyone that is causing these companies to go bankrupt is most likely not going to be there anymore, and if so they will be losing a lot of money. i know our family business wouldnt even have a fart blown our way if we asked for a bailout for our company. as shouldnt the "big 3." i blame all the liberal tit suckers for the bailout plan for all these companies. lets take money from the people that earned it and give it to the people that dont deserve it. screw you liberal cock suckers.

A lot of you don't realize why unions were originally created. They have done VERY well for the working middle class and made it possible for us to live decent lives while all of the rich stay rich. People now are too the point that american cars are in their peripheral vision and only the foreign cars are in front of them. They don't realize all the cars gm, ford, and dodge are building that are very much so comprable to their foreign counterparts. If you like american, buy american...if you like foreign buy foreign. But don't come back bitching when you can't find a job for a decent wage and all the foreign companies have our american dollars because we send all of it their way....then eventually we work for them and our great government that has their piggy banks tied off of all of it. Take a look at the Scion XB...the thing doesn't even get close to 30 mpg now and they still sell! Wow, and in recent news AB has been sold off to a foreign company. Business is great and I understand the world market, but when is America not going to be for sale? All of us are going to whore ourselves out to the point when own nothing at all, because everyone borrows borrows borrows. Why would I save for anything if its given to me on credit? I live in St. Louis and have watched ford go, watching AB dwindle, and my father in law is second generation UAW Chrysler worker. He has 23 years in and is caught in the middle of all of this. He is not a line worker, he has been a carpenter in the plant most of his life like his father and has worked 7 days a week for most of his career to give his family everything they have. They OWN everything and owe NOTHING, he has worked hard to save and buy what he knows he can afford. That is the very person who is being fucked the hardest by our ecenomic downfalls. Yup thats right, all of us that have always done the right thing and worked our asses off for a dollar. You can bet your asses that we have not seen the worst yet, and I personally believe people are going to start picking up their guns and making it known they are tired of it. Revolution every now and again isn't a bad thing.

btw. the unions are complete bullshit. all it is, is a bunch of people who are scared of losing there job because they arent doing there job well. and want a free ride
