---------------------------------------------Originally posted by BurrellimagesIt's cool to see Dan, Mike and other editors on here takling about their magazines. Just goes to show that they are every day people like all us. I too have noticed the change since Dan took over. My first cover was actually shot for Truckin Magazine back when Dan was an associate editor and i've made pretty good friends with Dan since then. Thanks for the big break! I think there are big things to come for Truckin Magazine. As for the boats, being a freelancer ive heard that for years, but like he said, things are changing! Give it a chance. And the ads are important. With no ads, there is not magazine, which inturn means there is no photographers shooting the truck you've worked so hard on. It's just like commercials on TV, they HAVE to be there, deal with it!! I can't wait to see Truckin continue to grow! Thanks for the numbers too. Thats crazy to see how all the mags vary from department to department.--------------------------------------------- im with brandon on this. i like seeing all the editors on here. ive been seeing truckin turn around and thats good. i ocassionaly would buy one off the stands mainly to see all the ads really. you can find alot of info by flipping the pages of truckin instead of aimless searching on the internet. sometime what you dont know your looking for jsut happens to leap off a page at you. i would like to see more import truck in trucking. like brian said. "its not domestic truckin" its jsut truckin. and i feel all custom trucks have the right to be on the cover of the mag. honestly i think it would help sell more mags because of it. some people jsut looking on the shelves might see another nbs chevy and just look right by, but throw a new titan or tundra or any other import on the cover and more people will pick it up. i def think dan is a great choice for this obstacle. and will turn truckin around into the mag we all used to love.
