As far as the navigator that was featured on the cover with Matts Escalade thats my compadre's Gator and he is no dope dealer he has a successful business. So don't always assume because they drive SUV's big wheels and lavish interiors that they sell dope. This thread is not about how people fix there rides and where they get there funds. This thread is about  Truckin magazine asking for our opinions about what we would like to see. Its not often you see a company reaching out to there audience. Stick to the thread!

Mike I know whos truck/suv is on the next cover. It deserves it.I didnt say u guys dont feature suvs just dont cover them.I understand that some issues dont sell but look deeper sometimes its the content within not just the cover.I love  the work that you guys do at source interlink. You guys have some of the best staff members I have met and had the priviledge to become friends with.Keep up the good work! DAN,I understand Matts escalade was a badass vehicle. But the point I was trying to get across is there are suvs overlooked that could be covers.I have seen several suvs thaat just get featured that in my opinion deserved a cover but due to "numbers" of previous covers they dont get there fair shake.I also agree Dan that people do lie on how there trucks were built or who built them.I think since you have taken over Truckin has became a better mag and by no means am I trying to stir anything up with the suv questions.Brandon Gillogly actually opened my eyes to the changes.I had the typical hard timme bringing myself to buy "Boatin" every month.Brandon took the time at a recent show to let me what had changed and how it was better. So keep up the good work and continue what your doing.a to you and your staff as well.

Joe  No one ever stated the navi was a dope dealers.Just the escalade...we are not trying to point out how people build there rides.the point was how come its only balla type suvs that make the cover anymore.you dont see simple clean non lincoln or caddy suvs on the cover anymore.sorry if i offended anyone

I'm with Joe just because some has better resources, or let's just say a successful business that doesn't mean he sells drugs, I think we need to stick to the topic as well, if someone is taking the time to ask how they can make the magazine better and take all the criticism and still try to make the mag better for the public, hey hats off. Remember this is still a business. No one will ever get sponsored with out proving them self first! You have to have built a ride or rides with your blood, sweat and tears, get the recognition and then make a name for yourself before you would ever get considered. IMO if you can't hang with the bidg dogs be happy with a feature, and if you don't get a feature go back to the drawing board. This is a very competitive sport, everyone wants to win, some more than others.

I think it would be cool to have a few pages devoted to other custom related things that people make or modify. Cool mail boxes, radio flyers and model cars. I would like to see my remote controlled Lincoln Navigator featured someday.

--------------------------------------------- Like I said I didnt mean to offend anyone.I do understand Magazine work is a biz.Like I stated before Ihave had the priviledge of becoming friends with several editors so i know the ups and downs and the political side of the biz as well.As far as putting blood sweat and tears in a ride and running with the big dogs and proving myself.Ive done that as well.I have a multi feature blazer which was in Truckin.I have a cover truck IN MiniTruckin.I built my dad a 72 which has been shot for classic trucks and I have an upcoming feature in Truckin. I guess what renny and I are trying to get across isnt getting across.Oh well.Again if I offended anyone I apologize.
