Unfortunately, the truck community is to blame for this loss. When we, as enthusiasts don't support the mags, this kind of thing happens.Magazines have to make money and if when you're at the grocery store, of Wal-Mart, or the bookstore, and you're not buying one, we all suffer.Don't let our competition fool you, this had nothing to do with them, it had to do with the truck world not buying magazines.  If you have a Sport Truck subscription, you will now receive Truckin'.   For all of you who had your truck shot for Sport Truck as a feature, we at Truckin' are going to do our best to run your truck. Also, for all you go-fast, muscle-truck guys, Truckin' is adding a new performance truck section in 2010 (you'll see it on stands in 2 months). This section will whet your appetite with blown, big-tire, hot-rods with a bed. Also, we will be picking up as much of the Sport Truck project truck tech and build-ups, as Mike with allow This way, you'll still see stories from Calin and Mike.   As for Mike and Andy, no one feels worse than we do. It could have been us. If you love the truck scene and you want to keep it alive and well—do your part!Buy truck magazines.-Dan Ward, Editor Truckin'---------------------------------------------what if we have both truckin and sport truck subscriptions?  kinda pointless for me to get 2 truckin mags every month........---------------------------------------------I believe you can call 800-765-0484 and choose which mag to switch your subscription to and can opt for Mini Truckin'? But i'm not exactly sure how it's all going to work out, as we are all just as shocked and saddened by this loss... ---------------------------------------------i already have  a MT subscription too, i support all 3 mags,

dam that sucks, i liked reading the tech articles in the magazine, i subscribed to sport truck, truckin, mini truckin and street trucks, and i have to say the tech articles in sport truck were the best, glad to see truckin is willing to pick up some of the articles and features, at least they wont go to waste, good luck on your future endevors, if truckin is in your blood which im sure it is, you will find another job in the industry, or start your own magazine. i know its expensive, but you know the ins and outs, and you know what people want, but like everyone is saying here on this post, we all have to buy the magazines, support this industry we are in, i was sad to see tailgate go now this.

Heck yea it's a nice truck! I've never got to meet Adam in person before, but the few show's I've seen his car and truck at, the attention to detail and style was awesome. That car def. needs to be featured somewhere! Chris ---------------------------------------------Originally posted by SSM-BrandtHey Dan, here is the "four-door car guys" truck.

I have been subscribing to Minitruckin forever! I am looking at a huge stack sitting here next to my desk! IF YOU DON"T SUPPORT IT, IT MAY JUST GO AWAY! Get off your ass and spend the $20.00 it's less than that but hey, we all anticipate every month when we are going to get it, we often get on SSM and ask what's in it, hell I think its a race to some of you. As soon as someone posts up that you got this month's issue and what's in it, hell I have even seen some of you jones'n so hard that you ask people to scan it for you! LOL... So what do you say, GO OUT AND BUY YOUR MINITRUCKIN MAG already! I don't care if it's from Wal-Mart, 7-11, your local rag store, just get one. We have seen the many faces of this magazine come and go, let's not let them be gone for good.... I have seen the staff go from many to just one. He sits in his lonely (BIG EMPTY) office all by himself. Trust me Mike Alexander looks like he could pull his hair out while sitting there singing (All By Myself) to himself. When you walk in the door he almost tackles you because he is happy just to see someone else there these days! Sorry Mike, had to do it! Tell it like it is Brother!!!  Here's the link: IT"S NOW $18.00 for an entire year! https://www.circsource.com/store/Subscribe.html?magazineId=76&sourceCode=I8ABNN as an added Bonus you can get TRUCKIN for just $12.00 if you buy at the same time!!! Mike would like you to Help Support all the magazines that are left, but I think most of us care about this one. What would we do if we could not see our rides in the show coverage, features, or cover of our favorite magazine each month. HUMMMM! DO IT, It's only $18.00. You can let go of that one case of beer this weekend!

Dan and his crew at Truckin are top notch guys. I have seen them at alot of shows showing there support for the sport. If you have clean ride and you think its feature worthy shoot him an email. He will respond to your email. We live in a world where its supply and demand. Anyone who has a job can understand that. I think Dan and his staff have done a great reaching out to us to see what we would like to see in the magazine and has responded. You can tell if you buy Truckin. If you have not picked up one lately. Buy one today you won't be dissappointed. Keep up the great work .

Just to clear up any confusion, I don't and wasn't talking trash about anyone (unless it's to their face).I was simply replying to a comment made by loudciv (is that better?), when he said "oh wait i forgot people would rather see another s10 than put a tastefully done midsize sedan in a mag"Clearly I can't run a four-door car in Truckin'. That's all I was saying and all that I meant by it.I'd love to see loudciv's Dodge in person (see me a PM and we can talk about meeting up). It looks sweet and as he mentioned, we run a lot of "Chevy's on 22s". We'll provide everyone with more variety when more Dodge, Ford, Toyota, and Nissan trucks are 100% finished. Build quality is and always will be subjective. If we only ran top-quality builds, many average Joes would never get published and the mag would be really small. Thanks for your input and again, we'll do our best for those Sport Truck readers to make your custom truck mag experience a good one while reading Truckin'.

for anyone complaining about Truckin' not having trucks... just go stand in wal-mart for 5 minutes and take a look at the magazine. YES they ran a lot of crap for a long time BUT they have been working hard to turn it around. The orange chevy that aaron iha helped build was killer and my favorite truck since catch 22. Yes they did just shoot my truck but I had resubscribed before I even met Dan or even thought of it running in Truckin'.

i bought the latest issue of truckin a couple weeks ago. its the best issue ive seen in years, hell for that matter i havent bought one in years. ive looked at damn near every one in walmart but until recently have decided to leave it on the shelf due to the fact that it just wasnt good enough truck mag to spend 6 bux on. im telling you guys just go skim thru a truckin now. i did and was superbly impressed. so impressed i bought the damn thing. i will continue to purchase if the content is up to par as it has been recently. ive been to damn near every large show in the southeast this year and have met dan up in lawrenceville. he is a good guy and really down to earth. but thats to be expected from someone who is from GA haha. but seriously they have been at all the good shows covering sick trucks. i was personally on the pier at the Blue Bayou shoot down in biloxi, i was up in millington at the RA show, i was in lawrenceville at the southeast showdown and ill be at slamfest as well. they are deffinetly doing their part covering the shows. as long as things keep going in the direction they are going in i will be purchasing. i hate that this happened to sport truck mag but im glad truckin is taking up the time and effort to run the articles and features. good job guys. keep up the good work.
